Katerina Parpa was born in Cyprus and raised in California USA. She studied Fashion Design in Los Angeles at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) and Fashion Buying at Marangoni Istituto in Milan.
She began her career as a fashion buyer for ERMES department stores in Cyprus then turned to journalism as a fashion editor for various publication houses such as DIAS and POLITIS.

Having fulfilled her desires of fashion journalism Katerina created the brand CARPE DIEM and a year later CARPE DIEM Studio-Gallery where she hosts the work of various Greek and Cypriot designers.

Katerina is also a renowned young artist in the Cyprus art community having recently held her first solo art exhibition and been honored Artist of the Month by Art-e-choke Magazine.

Η Κατερίνα Πάρπα Γεννήθηκε στην Κύπρο και μεγάλωσε στην Καλιφόρνια ΗΠΑ. Σπούδασε σχέδιο μόδας στο Λος Ανχελες στο FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) και Αγοραστής Μόδας στο Marangoni Istituto στο Μιλάνο.

Ξεκίνησε στον χώρο της μόδας ως αγοραστής μόδας στα Πολυκαταστήματα Ermes στην Κύπρο και μετά ως Δημοσιογράφος Μόδας σε διάφορους οίκους όπως ΔΙΑΣ και ΠΟΛΙΤΗΣ.

Έχοντας εκπληρώσει τις δημοσιογραφικές φιλοδοξίες της ξεκίνησε την φίρμα Carpe Diem και ένα χρόνο μετά εγκαινίασε την CARPE DIEM Studio-Gallery όπου φιλοξενεί την δουλειά διάφορων Κύπριων και Ελλήνων σχεδιαστών.

Επιπλέον η Κατερίνα πρόσφατα ολοκλήρωσε ακόμη μία επιθυμία της: την πρώτη της σόλο έκθεση όπου επίσης τιμήθηκε από το περιοδικό Art-e-choke ως ‘Artist of the Month’.
